Pioneers of German Heavy Metal

The band, which emerged from Udo Dirkschneider's Band X, has been around since 1976. ACCEPT made their breakthrough in the eighties with the album "Breaker". The work brought them also internationally an excellent reputation and ensured that they became the figureheads of the German heavy metal scene. It was also impossible to imagine the stages without the band. In 1984, they toured North America with the legends Kiss and Saxon, among others. The success was not missing either. With "Balls To The Wall" they entered the German album charts for the first time in 1984. Russian Roulette" reached its first top ten position in 1986, and since then it has been a must for every fan of the band to have ACCEPT merchandise in their wardrobe or on their frock.

The success is unbroken

In the following years, the musicians established themselves more and more as a scene institution. Tours with bands such as Judas Priest, Def Leppard, Whitesnake and Mötley Crüe testified to ACCEPT's greatness between 1980 and 1990. After that, however, things got a bit more restless. So the band parted ways with singer Dirkschneider in 1986 (who returned between 1992 and 2005) and released only one album until their first breakup in 1989: "Eat The Heat". On this album David Reece can be heard as singer. In 1993 Udo Dirkschneider, Wolf Hoffmann, Peter Baltes and Stefan Kaufmann re-formed and a reunion took place. The reunion lasted until 1997 and resulted in three new albums. After a brief live comeback in 2005, ACCEPT did not return until 2009 with their new vocalist Mark Tornillo. Since then, four albums have been released and of course brand new merchandise, which you can get from us!
